Teja Vidyalaya – A beginning of a new chapter:

After completing 9 years of their successful journey, we, the management of Teja Vidyalaya felt the need to bring changes in the system. We wanted to be more contemporary, scientific, global and innovative in imparting high quality education to our children. Teja Vidyalaya was established in the year 2012.

Ideal Class rooms:

Small class size (Not the size of the class room) of 25 students ensures that teacher is able to focus on the students. It would also be easy for the teacher to know everything about everyone. Due to this very favourable student-teacher ratio the teachers are able to build up a close relationship with children and identify specific individual needs.

Teachers work closely with students in the classroom and in small groups outside the classroom too.

Library:

The library is unrivaled with more than 20,000 books on various subjects, latest periodicals and journals. We have class room libraries too where the students find CBSE and ICSE syllabus books for their reference. The students are allowed to maintain the class libraries and whatever new books they want to have, we try to bring them as early as possible.

Laboratories :

We have separate laboratories for Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Biology which you don’t see anywhere, particularly in schools. We separate budget for the libraries and we keep adding new equipment every year depending on the need. Students are free to use these laboratories of course under the supervision of subject teachers. We want the teaching to be practical oriented which is what even CCE emphasizes on.

Computer Lab:

Computer Labs with Internet Access are constantly updated with the latest software and hardware. A dedicated BSNL Broadband internet connection, is very much useful for the teachers and students to keep themselves up to date.

Music room:

Through music, children take an inner experience and move it into a shared creative experience. It channelizes energy in creative and productive directions. Children learn about themselves and others by playing music together and by listening to each other.

Acoustic guitar, Electric guitar, Congo drums, Jazz drums, Tabla, Mrudangam …… we have all these music instruments in our school for our children. Early in the morning, from 5 onwards, one can listen our children practicing these instruments with great passion.

We have also found that children who have been active in music or any other art form have shown considerable progress in their academics too.
